These units purify the water to 1/1000 000th of a mm by passing the contaminated water through a special membrane which seperates the incoming water into 2 seperate streams. The impurities are dumped to the drain and the pure product water is then stored in the system for use by the owner. The specialised membrane was patented by NASA for the Space missions and it does it's job beautifully. Cleverly designed to flush itself while it produces pure water this unit keeps itsself clean automatically and rarely does the mebrane have to be replaced if the service intervals are maintained correctly. The unit consists of 4 other filers apart from the mebrane and is fully configurable for your specific conditions. NB ***This unt is specifically designed to produce 50 gpd or 200 liters frombacteriologically safe feed water of pressure between 3 - 5.5 bars only. For water pressure less than this a Booster unit must be purchased. Above 5.5 bars and an inline pressure reducer is required. The low pressure switch turns the booster pump off should the pressure drop below 0.5 or if the water supply is disconnected for whatever reason. The high pressure switch turns the pump off when the tank is full.
