Reverse Osmosis systems are often refered to as water purifiers due to the extreme level of filtration that they offer. Initially used by the US submarine service and NASA to process the lmited amounts of water that missions could take with. This process was eventually released to the public in the late 1970's to be commercialised and used globally as one of the most effective technologies for purifying water.

You can't get any better. These units purify the water to 1/1000 000th of a mm by passing the contaminated water through a special membrane which seperates the incoming water into 2 seperate streams. The impurities are dumped to the drain and the pure product water is then stored in the system for use by the owner.

Cleverly designed to flush itself while it produces pure water, this unit keeps itself clean automatically and rarely does the mebrane have to be replaced, if the service intervals are maintained correctly. The unit consists of 4 other filers apart from the mebrane and is fully configurable for your specific conditions.

The reverse osmosis filters are installed below the kitchen sink or in a location close to the food preparation area.

NB ***This unt is specifically designed to produce 50 gpd or 200 liters from bacteriologically safe feed water of pressure between
3 - 5.5 bars only. For water pressure less than this a Booster unit must be purchased. Above 5.5 bars and an inline pressure reducer is required and are supplied with all of our units.

5 Stage Under Counter Water Filter System - With Booster Unit
Identical to the unit listed above but also desiged for home owners whose water pressure is between 0.5 and 3 bars ie very low to low pressure feed water. A special 1 bar booster pump with high and low pressure switches and a transformer is fitted so that the unit will produce the required volume of water under all conditions.

The low pressure switch turns the booster pump off should the pressure drop below 0.5 or if the water supply is disconnected for whatever reason. The high pressure switch turns the pump off when the tank is full.

Made tough for South African conditions the housings contain 2 seperate O-rings and the housing is designed to lock tight under pressure. Elbows are flanged to fit snugly against the receptacles.

The only effective and affordable water filter system to remove 98- 100 % of all of these contaminants is reverse osmosis. Not just a normal reverse osmosis water filter system, but one that has specific filter materials added to reduce the contaminant levels significantly and eradicate them in- line with the National Water Guidelines and World Health Organisation Specifications.
